Cruise Trek 2022 ~
“Danube III – Bucharest to Budapest” August 15 ~ 22, 2022 Or sail with us from Amsterdam to Iceland
July 31 - August 14, 2022.
Cruise Trek is boldly going on another European River Cruise in 2022! Mostly as a Re-do of a cruise that was changed due to water level issues back in 2018. Indeed we still had a wonderful trip, but some have wanted to be able to see what we missed – i.e. Croatia, Serbia, and Bulgaria – so – here we are! ;-) And at a better time of the year!!
~ Do You Need Travel Insurance? ~
One option is Trip Insurance. There are other choices, but we offer Travel Guard for informational purposes. Our first adventure on the historic Danube River in 2008 was noted to be the most majestic and popular. In the summer of 2022, we’ll continue the adventure down the Danube, but this time, we will sail from Bucharest, Romania to Budapest, Hungary, where we ended our first Danube Adventure. This cruise now offers a couple different pre cruise tour options – option #1 is exploring Istanbul for a 3 night tour including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Sultans Grand Palace and the Grand Bazaar, and option #2 is a 4 night pre-cruise hotel/tour package which includes 2 nights in Bucharest which then continues to Transylvania, where we stay in the town of Brasov, near to Bran Castle, more known as Dracula’s Castle for a tour and en route we will explore Peles Castle, considered to be one of the most stunning castles in Europe. Then after our river cruise adventure you can take in either amazing Budapest or the absolute beauty of Vienna. These packages have some meals, all tours and most transfers included. As always, additionally to the amazing itinerary possibilities, special highlights and advantages of this Cruise Trek adventure will include a professionally-trained tour guide to accompany us throughout, local entertainment, music performances, lectures, cooking demonstrations, and theme dinners. Plus, on board a river cruise, included in your cruise fare are pre dinner “Sip & Sail” hours, wine, beer & soft drinks with lunch and dinner, Wi-Fi service, bottled water, bicycle use and shore excursions
