Cruise Trek 2025 ~
“Tokyo, Japan to Alaska & Vancouver, BC Canada & more options in Japan” April 27 ~ May 11, 2026 Another Cruise Trek Family Adventure for 2025!
Honestly, this will be a very big trip for us!
~ Do You Need Travel Insurance? ~
One option is Trip Insurance. There are other choices, but we offer Travel Guard for informational purposes. As such we are planning to arrive in the southern most prefecture of tropical Okinawa, Japan (birthplace of Eric Stillwell) – in late March 2025. Here, we’ll attempt to live more like a local and at an Airbnb or condo/hotel (costs are very reasonable) – to enable a “home base”. Then on the weekend of April 19/20th, 2025, we will fly to Osaka, Japan. Here in Osaka, we will meet up at our hotel, with the Menyuks, and of course with more of the CT family wishing to start their pre cruise journey here. After our stay in Osaka we will transfer/tour to Kyoto for another hotel stay. After exploring Kyoto, we will ride again the “Bullet” train to Tokyo for a 3 night hotel stay. You’re welcome to join for all, a portion, or just the cruise – up to you! To plan all – We just have to know how many want to join and on which portion. With that, we can book/plan hotels, transfers and local tours for our CT family. There is so much to explore on this adventure – especially if you join us for the pre cruise tour! Think of tranquil and tropical Okinawa; the Dotonbori district of Osaka (home of the Cup of Noodles); Kyoto, acclaimed for its traditional architecture, temples, shrines, restaurants and f estivals; then to Mt Fuji and Tokyo! We sail from lively Tokyo and the port of Yokohama, then to Kushiro, Japan, then to Alaskan ports, then land in Vancouver, BC Canada for our respective flights home. It’s an Asia North Pacific Crossing. We sail on the 1,924 passenger ship – the Noordam, and sister to the Oosterdam – as opposed to another gargantuan. This adventurous 15 day cruise has 7 days at sea which means loads of time to intimately engage with one another. All in all, a terrific opportunity to once again enjoy a different culture/society and language, revisit a few places we’ve been to before, explore some new ports, and depart our own comfort zone. There are details to discover and choices to make – as of this writing; we are working on “local” hotels, tours and exact dates/timing! Call or email with questions.
